i’ve been editing for as long as i can remember. it started in elementary school, making amvs on my phone and uploading them to youtube simply because i loved a music and wanted to create something from it visually. that curiosity slowly pulled me into editing communities, different styles, and eventually motion graphics. the first time i opened after effects was on my grandpa’s laptop in junior high, and from there it became a constant cycle of editing, experimenting, and figuring out what kind of things felt right to me.
music has always been the starting point. when i hear a track i really like, my brain immediately starts forming scenes, frames, transitions, pacing, moments that move in sync with the sound. that’s where my spark comes from. i start projects because the music hits, and i keep working on them because i want the visuals to resonate with what i imagined when i first heard it.
the joy is in the translation. taking something abstract from my head and slowly shaping it into motion i’m proud of. i'm always drawn to clean movement, smooth transitions, and visuals that don’t try too hard. i avoid things that feel flashy, generic, or forced. when a piece finally lands, when the motion moves the way the music feels, that’s the moment that keeps me coming back.
